Nance's double-double helps Wyoming beat Colorado St. 59-48

LARAMIE, Wyo. (AP) Larry Nance Jr. scored 19 points and grabbed 10 rebounds and Wyoming rolled to a 59-48 victory over Colorado State on Wednesday night.

Wyoming (19-4, 8-2 Mountain West) led wire-to-wire on its way to sweeping Colorado State (19-4, 6-4) for the first time since 2009 to stay atop the conference standings. The Rams drop into a fourth-place tie.

Nance and Derek Cooke Jr. finished with back-to-back double-double games, with Cooke chipping in 12 points and 11 boards. Nance added three steals and four blocks.

Colorado State came in averaging 74 points a game but was held to under 50 points for the first time this season. The Rams shot 30 percent from the field and hit just 3 of 25 (12 percent) from 3-point range.

J.J. Avila led the Rams with 18 points and 12 rebounds.
