Marc Sonnen connected on seven 3-pointers and had 21 points to lead Northern Iowa to an 82-77 overtime victory over George Mason, snapping Patriots' 14-game home winning streak.

Anthony James scored five of his 19 points in overtime and Seth Tuttle hit six straight free throws in the game's final 22 seconds to seal the victory for the Panthers (6-3).

Tuttle finished with 18 points, going 12-for-14 from the foul line.

George Mason (6-4) got 20 points from Sherrod Wright, but was undone by some costly miscues and inconsistent play from point guards Bryon Allen and Corey Edwards. They combined for 21 points but also had eight turnovers between them.
