Cameron Jones scored 17 points and Northern Arizona snapped a six-game losing streak against Montana with a 70-53 win on Saturday night.

Eric Platt scored 14 points off the bench and Shane Johannsen added 12 for the Lumberjacks (14-8, 6-4 Big Sky), who have won four straight.

Brian Qvale had 17 points and eight rebounds for the Grizzlies (16-7, 8-3), who dropped out of first place in the Big Sky after their second straight loss. Derek Selvig scored 12 and Kareem Jamar added 10 for Montana.

Northern Arizona, which outrebounded the bigger Grizzlies 33-26, used a 15-0 run to open a 21-point lead midway through the second half. The Lumberjacks shot 50 percent (7 for 14) from 3-point range while holding Montana to just 16.7 percent (2 for 12) from long distance.
