Morgan suspended, done at Baylor
Baylor has suspended post player J'mison Morgan because of a violation of university policy.
Bears coach Scott Drew said in a release Saturday night that the 6-foot-11 Morgan, a fifth-year senior who has played only one game this season, will not return to the team.
Drew didn't elaborate, and Baylor officials said there would be no further comment.
Morgan transferred to Baylor from UCLA prior to the 2010-11 season. He was granted immediate eligibility by the NCAA and played in 31 games with 14 starts as a junior. After redshirting last season, his only action this season was Nov. 24.
Drew said Morgan would definitely be missed. The coach said his staff is committed to making sure Morgan finishes his degree while beginning his professional career.
