Moody leads Bethune-Cookman to 88-56 win over Florida A&M

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (AP) Mario Moody scored a career-high 25 points as Bethune-Cookman rolled to an 88-56 win over Florida A&M on Saturday.

Moody was 10 of 13 from the field for the Wildcats (7-15, 4-4 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference). Jordan Potts added 17 points, nine assists and three rebounds and Ricky Johnson had 11 points with four assists and five rebounds.

The Wildcats took a 17-16 lead midway through the first half and an 8-2 run to finish the period gave them a 41-25 advantage at halftime.

Johnson sank a 3-pointer to start the second half, sparking a 12-8 run that extended the Wildcats' lead to 53-23 with 15:42 to play. Moody had three dunks after that, nailing the final one with 24 seconds remaining to ice the win.

Craig Bowman led the Rattlers (6-14, 2-5) with 19 points and eight rebounds. Malcolm Bernard had 15 points and seven rebounds.
