Mocs set program scoring mark in 125-85 win over The Citadel
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (AP) Greg Pryor scored 21 points to pace Chattanooga's single-game scoring record against a Division I opponent as the Mocs beat The Citadel 125-85 on Monday night.
The Mocs (19-3, 8-1 Southern Conference) scored 77 in the second half after a 48-33 lead at the break. They surpassed their previous scoring record set in a 105-68 victory against The Citadel on Jan. 6, 1995.
Chattanooga made 39 of 71 from the field, including 10 of 31 3-pointers, and 37 of 47 from the foul line.
Pryor added six assists and four steals and Tre' McLean had 17 points. Duke Ethridge added 14 points, Dee Oldham scored 13 and Peyton Woods 12.
Brian White led The Citadel (10-13, 3-7) with 18 points. Derrick Henry and Connor Schroeder added 10 points each.
The Mocs pulled away by closing the first half on a 24-11 run and opening the second with a 20-6 spurt.
