Mobley rallies UT Martin to 66-63 win over Duquesne

PITTSBURGH (AP) Jacolby Mobley scored a career-high 25 points and his 3-pointer with one second left lifted UT Martin to a 66-63 win over Duquesne in Wednesday night's Bluegrass Showcase game in which they trailed most of the way.

Down by 11 at halftime after shooting 28 percent in the first half, the Skyhawks rallied to within 59-54 after Mobley made three straight layups while the Dukes went scoreless for 3:27. UT Martin's Kedar Edwards tied it at 69 with a free throw and the teams combined to miss eight shots in the next 3:13 until Mobley's 3 after a Duquesne timeout.

Matthew Butler scored 13 points for the Skyhawks (5-1), who have won five straight for their best start since 2005-06.

After four lead changes and three ties, Duquesne's Josh Steel made back-to-back 3-pointers and the Dukes pulled ahead 29-20 and led 39-28 at halftime.

Emile Blackman scored 19 points, Isiaha Mike had 15 and Rene Castro added 11 for the Dukes (2-4).
