MOREHEAD, Ky. (AP) Patrick Miller poured in a career-high 38 points and drilled a go-ahead 3-pointer with 2 seconds remaining, carrying Tennessee State to a 70-68 upset over Morehead State Thursday night.

Tennessee State opened the second half on an 18-7 run to lead 52-38 at the midway mark, but Morehead State fought back to pull within one.

After a split pair of free throws by Jaleel Queary, Angelo Warner hit two to tie it at 67. A technical foul on Tennessee State sent Warner to the line again, but he split the free throws to put Morehead State up one with 7 seconds remaining.

Miller drained the game-winner and Drew Kelly couldn't answer with a 3-pointer of his own as time expired.
