Jason Jones scored 16 points and grabbed four rebounds in only 17 minutes and Middle Tennessee won its fourth straight game, beating Louisiana-Monroe 94-61 Thursday night.

J.T. Sulton had 13 and Shawn Jones 10 as nine of 14 Middle Tennessee players scored over six points.

Middle Tennessee (25-4, 14-1 Sun Belt Conference) scored the game's first eight points and led 15-5 after a Sulton dunk with 15:05 left in the first half. Shawn Jones's layup with 32 seconds left in the period gave the Blue Raiders a 46-22 lead.

The Blue Raiders shot 57.9 percent (33 of 57) from the field, including 10 of 19 from deep, and hit 14 of 20 free throws.

Louisiana-Monroe shot 45.2 percent (19 of 42) from the field but committed 17 turnovers.

Middle Tennessee dished out 30 team assists, compared to just 14 for the Warhawks (2-26, 1-14).

Fred Brown led Louisiana-Monroe with 13.
