Middle Tennessee 82, Evansville 70

Rod Emanuel scored all 15 of his points in the second half as Middle Tennessee rallied to defeat Evansville 82-70 on Wednesday night.
Emanuel went 5 for 9 from the field and 3 for 5 from behind the arc to help the Blue Raiders (3-3) overcome a 36-30 halftime deficit.
Four other Middle Tennessee players scored in double figures, with Trevor Ottley adding a career-high 14 points, Trevor Charles a career-high 12, Kyle Hunt 11 and Jason Jones 10 for the Blue Raiders.
Colt Ryan scored 23 points in the first half for the Purple Aces (2-2), but finished with 31, tying his career high.
Leading 55-54 with 11:15 left, Middle Tennessee then went on a 17-3 run to lead 72-57 with 4:02 to go.
The Blue Raiders shot 51.9 percent from the field (28 of 54), including 56.3 percent in the second half (18 of 32), but made only 3 of 13 from long range for the game.
