Maten, Mann lead Georgia over Mississippi State 66-57

STARKVILLE, Miss. (AP) Yante Maten and Charles Mann combined for 46 points and 14 rebounds in leading Georgia to a 66-57 win over Mississippi State on Saturday night.

Maten had a career-high 25 points while Mann chipped in with a season-high 21 points with both totaling seven rebounds each. Georgia (14-9, 7-5 SEC) led from start to finish.

Mississippi State (10-14, 3-9) had its lowest scoring output of the season.

Quinndary Weatherspoon had 17 points to lead Mississippi State and Craig Sword had 13 points. Mississippi State shot just 30.9 percent while Georgia made 46.3 for the game and 54 percent in the second half.
