Maten, Georgia hold off Missouri 60-57

COLUMBIA, Mo. (AP) Yante Maten had 21 points and 12 rebounds as Georgia held off Missouri in a 60-57 victory Wednesday night.

Maten was a force on both ends of the court for the Bulldogs, shooting 10 of 21 from the field and blocking six shots, which tied a career high.

J.J. Frazier had 16 points, seven assists and six rebounds while Georgia doubled Missouri's assists, 14-7.

Neither team separated itself in the first half with the game tied at 22 at halftime. Georgia missed its first seven shots and Missouri jumped out to a 5-0 lead, its largest of the night. The Bulldogs shot 10 of 32 from the field in the first half, including 1 of 9 from 3-point range. Maten finished the half with nine points and eight rebounds, and tied it on a 3-point play with 16 seconds remaining.
