BALTIMORE (AP) Devin Martin scored a career-high 26 to lead Maryland-Eastern Shore to a 78-53 win over Morgan State on Monday night.

Martin made 10 of 16 field goals, including 3 of 5 from 3-point range, for UMES (9-9, 2-1 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference). Iman Johnson and Dominique Elliott scored 10 apiece and Elliott grabbed a career-high nine rebounds.

Morgan State (3-15, 1-3) shot just 29.6 percent and made 1 of 11 from 3-point range in the first half and trailed 36-22 at the break.

Just more than a minute into the second half the Bears cut their deficit to 36-30. Blake Bozeman sandwiched back-to-back 3's around a UMES turnover before Cedric Blossom came up with a steal and a Donte Pretlow layup capped the quick spurt.
