Martin hits game-winner; Savannah State beats Campbell 59-57

SAVANNAH, Ga. (AP) Chris Martin scored a game-winning basket with 23 seconds left and Savannah State scored the final 13 points to rally past Campbell 59-57 on Monday night.
Troy Harper converted two free throws with 4:46 remaining to give Campbell a 57-46 lead, but the Camels were held scoreless the rest of the way.
Savannah State's Casey Wells hit two 3-pointers during the decisive run and Lenjo Kilo made a layup with 1:13 left to tie it at 57. Kyre' Hamer's 3-pointer for Campbell rolled out at the buzzer.
Martin led Savannah State (2-0) with 17 points and Kilo added 10. The Tigers were just 19 of 50 (38 percent) from the field, but forced 24 turnovers.
Chris Clemons scored 13 points for Campbell (1-1) and Shane Whitfield had 12.
Campbell went on a 12-0 run, with 5 points from Curtis Phillips, in the second half to take a 47-37 lead.
