Troy Barnies scored 21 points and pulled down nine rebounds to lead Maine to a 77-51 blowout win over Binghamton in America East Conference play on Saturday.

The Black Bears (10-7, 4-1) trailed 14-8 with 14:16 remaining in the opening half before going on a 35-14 run - led by 12 points from Barnies - to enter halftime with a 43-28 lead.

Maine stretched its lead to 60-32 on a layup from Mike Allison with 11:56 left to play. The Black Bears led by at least 16 the rest of the way and by as many as 35, 72-37, with 4:47 to go.

Gerald McLemore added 15 points for Maine, which outscored the Bearcats (6-11, 3-1) in the paint 34-22 and posted a 43-34 edge in rebounding.

Moussa Camara scored 14 and Chretien Lukusa added 10 for Binghamton, which had its three-game winning streak snapped. Mahamoud Jabbi grabbed 10 rebounds and scored nine points in the loss.
