WEST HARTFORD, Conn. (AP) Jason Dunne scored 19 points with four 3-pointers and nine rebounds, J.R. Lynch scored 13 points and made four free throws in the final 16 seconds, and Hartford beat Maine 67-63 on Thursday night.

John Carroll and Travis Weatherington scored 10 points apiece for the Hawks (15-11, 8-4 America East Conference), who shot just 35 percent from the field but made 18 free throws.

Tied at 36 at halftime, Ilija Stojiljkovic's free throw put Maine up 61-58 with 2:51 left, but Dunne's 3 tied it and Hassan Attia and Lynch combined for four free throws for a 65-61 Hawks lead with 16 seconds left. Aaron Calixte's layup made it a two-point game, but Lynch iced it with two more from the line and Calixte turned it over on Maine's final possession.

Calixte scored 24 points with three 3-pointers and Andrew Fleming added 16 points for the Black Bears (6-22, 3-10), who have lost three straight. Stojiljkovic grabbed 11 rebounds.
