Luzcando, Idaho State blitzes Northern Colorado 90-57

GREELEY, Colo. (AP) For the second time in three games, Geno Luzcando tied his career high scoring 30 points on 12-for-20 shooting from the field as Idaho State dismantled Northern Colorado 90-57 on Saturday night.

Idaho State (11-11, 6-4) broke free from a 12-all tie with a 24-6 run capped a Luzcando's 3 with 4:38 left before halftime. The Bengals led 45-24 at the half.

The second half started with Idaho State using a 15-4 run - capped by Gary Chivichyan's 3 - to build a commanding 60-28 lead with 14:56 to play.

Kyle Ingram scored 13 points for Idaho State, Chivichyan had 12 and Ethan Telfair added 11 points and seven assists.

Anthony Johnson led Northern Colorado (8-11, 5-6) with 16 points and Ibrahim Sylla added 11. The Bears shot 2 for 18 from 3-point range.

Northern Colorado entered the game averaging 75 points a game, but surrendering 80.2 per contest.
