Vernon Teel scored 24 points and pulled down 11 rebounds to lead Loyola Marymount to a 77-68 overtime win against Portland on Saturday.

Teel scored just eight points in Thursday's upset over Gonzaga but bounced back Saturday by hitting 6 of 9 shots from the field and going 10-for-12 from the free-throw line.

The Lions (15-13, 6-6 WCC) have now won four of their past five games.

The Pilots (17-9, 8-4) took the lead 62-60 on a pair of free throws by T.J. Campbell with just 30 seconds left in regular play.

Campbell led the Pilots with 17 points. Jared Stohl finished with 16 and Ethan Niedermeyer had 11.
