Louisville continued its successful, and busy, spring of recruiting, landing five-star small forward V.J. King.

King, ranked No. 25 in the ESPN 100 for the 2016 class, chose the Cardinals over Connecticut, Virginia and Kentucky.

King attended LeBron James' former high school for a few years, but ultimately transferred for his last. King is averaging 14.2 points and 5.2 rebounds on the Nike EYBL circuit so far this season.

Louisville was a big winner in this year's transfer period, landing Trey Lewis (Cleveland State) and Damion Lee (Drexel). Lee was one of the leading scorers in college basketball last season.
