Gary La'Ryan scored 22 points, including seven in overtime, to lead Louisiana-Lafayette over Denver 58-52 on Thursday night in the Ragin' Cajuns' 10th straight win.

La'Ryan scored all but one of the points in the extra period for the Ragin' Cajuns (13-14, 10-5 Sun Belt Conference), making five free throws and their only field goal.

The Pioneers (13-15, 9-6) also made just one field goal in overtime, but also missed their only free throw to lose for the fifth time in their last seven games.

Denver was just 9 of 16 from the line, while Louisiana-Lafayette went to the foul line 29 times, making 20.

The Ragin' Cajuns shot 45.9 percent from the field in the game (17 of 37).

J.J. Thomas added 13 points for Louisiana-Lafayette, which got two free throws from La'Ryan with 26 seconds left to send it into overtime, 50-50.

Chase Hallam had 13 points for Denver.
