Larry Anderson and Casper Ware combined for 41 points and Eugene Phelps had a double-double Saturday night as Long Beach State defeated Cal State Fullerton 75-60.

Ware had 21 points and five assists; Anderson added 20 points, nine rebounds and five assists; and Phelps tallied 12 points and 12 rebounds for the 49ers (13-10, 8-2 Big West).

Jer'Vaughn Johnson had 17 points and Isiah Umipig 12 for Fullerton (8-14, 4-5), which had beaten Long Beach 89-87 at home on Jan. 19. The Titans are now 2-12 on the road this season.

The 49ers led by as many as 22 points when Anderson hit a pair of free throws to make it 53-31 with 14:33 left in the game. Fullerton responded with a 15-2 run to get within 55-46 with 9:56 remaining, but Long Beach scored the next nine points - capped by Ware's 3-pointer with 7:16 left - to put it out of reach.
