Jesse Sanders scored 19 points and four teammates also scored in double figures as Liberty defeated Presbyterian 77-64 Saturday night in Big South Conference.

The Flames (11-16, 6-9), who led 29-26 at the break, got 13 points apiece from Antwan Burrus and John Caleb Sanders. David Minaya and Tavares Speaks each added 11 points.

Sanders, who hit 8 of 11 shots from the floor, had 10 assists for a double-double.

Al'Lonzo Coleman led Presbyterian (11-14, 5-10) with 19 points, also going 8 for 11 from the field. Guard Pierre Miller was the only other player in double figures for the Blue Hose with 15 points.

Liberty outrebounded Presbyterian 27-14. The Flames made 28 of 49 field goal attempts (57.1 percent) while Presbyterian shot nearly as well (25 of 46, 54.3 percent). But Liberty had a decisive edge at the foul line, going 18 for 22. Presbyterian was 7 for 11.
