Charlie Harper's double-double led Lamar to a 72-54 victory over Charlotte on Saturday.

The senior forward posted game highs of 22 points and 18 rebounds for the Cardinals (2-2), who broke a two-game losing streak. Anthony Miles scored 20 points, and Devon Lamb added 11 for Lamar.

Derrio Green paced the 49ers (2-1) with 19 points, with all five of his baskets coming on 3-pointers. K.J. Sherrill added 11 points.

After Sherrill opened the scoring, Miles hit two consecutive baskets for Lamar for a 4-2 lead, and the Cardinals never trailed thereafter. They led 29-19 at halftime, and the final score represented their largest margin.

Lamar enjoyed an immense 52-28 rebounding advantage that helped lead to edges of 20-16 on points in the paint and 8-0 on fast-break points.
