Tremell Adams scored a career-high 22 points, including four 3-pointers, to help Lamar crush Huston-Tillotson 123-79 on Saturday night.

Six players, all coming off the bench, scored doubled digits for the Cardinals (5-4).

Coy Custer picked up a double-double for Lamar with 15 points and 10 rebounds. Orlando Brazier added another 15 points while Devon Lamb and Mike James each scored 13 and Donley Minor had 10.

Lamar totaled 95 points off the bench.

The Rams (0-12) twice led by two points early in the game, but the Cardinals quickly took control, pulling ahead by as many as 23 points midway through the first half.

After going up 65-48 at halftime, Lamar cruised through the second period and held a 50-point advantage late in the game.

James Black led in scoring with 34 points for the Rams while Cameron Morgan added 12.
