Ramon Galloway scored a career-best 28 points to lead La Salle to its fifth consecutive victory, 76-64 over Army on Saturday.

Galloway, a junior guard, made 10 of 12 shots for the Explorers (7-3), including 8 of 8 in the first half. La Salle shot 62.1 percent (18 of 29) in the half to take a 48-36 lead.

La Salle's lead remained in double figures throughout the second half and reached 21 points, 74-53, with 8:16 remaining.

The Explorers made a season-high 15 baskets in 29 attempts from 3-point range, including 6 of 7 by Galloway, who also had seven rebounds and four assists. Earl Pettis added 18 points for the Explorers.

Ella Ellis scored 19 points to lead the Black Knights (3-7), including 5 of 6 from 3-point range.

La Salle has won its last six games against Army.
