La Roche College's men's and women's basketball games against Penn State Behrend have been postponed following the sudden death of men's coach Scott Lang.
The 41-year-old Lang collapsed during practice Friday and died a short while later after being taken to a hospital.
Lang has been the suburban Pittsburgh school's coach for 14 years. When he was hired in 1997 at age 27, he was the youngest head basketball coach at any NCAA school.
La Roche, an NCAA Division III member, is off to a 7-1 start. No makeup dates for the games or for a planned reception of former men's team players also scheduled for Saturday have been announced.
