HARRISONBURG, Va. (AP) Jackson Kent scored 15 points and forced a late turnover to help James Madison hold off and beat Elon 75-72 on Saturday night.

Elon overcame an 11-point second half deficit and pulled within 71-70 with 1:13 remaining. James Madison's Yohanny Dalembert scored, Kent had a steal, and Ron Curry hit a jumper to stretch the lead the Dukes' lead to 75-70 with 27 seconds left. Austin Hamilton answered for Elon, making it 75-72.

While anticipating an intentional foul, Kent turned the ball over to Dmitri Thompson to give Elon a final opportunity with 7 seconds left.

But Hamilton's potential game-tying 3 was long to seal it for James Madison (11-8, 4-2 Colonial Athletic Association).
