Jacksonville rolls by Northern Kentucky 95-77

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) Keith McDougald scored 22 points to lead Jacksonville in a 95-77 victory over Northern Kentucky on Saturday.

Jacksonville (9-13, 5-6 Atlantic Sun) put up 51 points in the first half, opening a big lead with a 23-5 run to break an early tie at 9. Jarvis Haywood led the Dolphins with 10 points during the stretch.

Northern Kentucky (8-15, 4-7) shot 49 percent from the field in the game, but was unable to cut the lead to single digits in the second half.

Haywood scored 19 points and RJ Slawson added 15. Marcel White had 11. The Dolphins hit 8 of 16 3-point attempts, led by Haywood who made 3 of 4.

Jordan Jackson led the Norse with 18 points while Todd Johnson added 15 and Jalen Billups added 11.

The Dolphins snapped a four-game losing streak and avenged a 73-66 loss to Northern Kentucky earlier this season.
