Ayron Hardy scored 17 points to lead five players in double figures and Jacksonville defeated Florida Tech 87-75 on Saturday.
Tevin Galvin added 15 points as the Dolphins (2-1) improved to 7-0 all-time against Florida Tech (4-1).
Jacksonville was 18 for 30 from the field (60 percent) in the second half, when the Dolphins outscored the Panthers 46-36. Jacksonville finished 35 of 64 from the field (54.7 percent).
The Dolphins led 56-52 with 11:08 left, but went on a 16-2 run to extend the margin to 72-54 on Hardy's dunk with 8:10 remaining. Galvin and Chris Davis started the run with back-to-back 3-pointers.
Glenn Powell added 13 points and Russell Powell and Travis Cohn scored 12 points each for Jacksonville.
Julius Reid scored 20, Anthony Jackson had 18 points and Justin Sedlak added 11 points for Florida Tech.
