Leroy Nobles scored 23 points, including 11 during a key run, to lead IUPUI over Ohio, 66-56, on Sunday.
The Jaguars (5-6) trailed 40-39 after Ohio used a 9-0 run to pull ahead on DeVaughn Washington's layup with 8:25 to play. IUPUI then scored 16 straight sparked by Nobles, who had three 3-pointers during the spurt, putting the Jaguars up 55-49 with 2:05 left in the game. Nobles capped the run with a jumper.
The Jaguars then went 11 of 13 from the free-throw line to seal the win.
Alex Young added 21 points and Christian Siakam had 10 rebounds for IUPUI, which snapped a two-game losing skid.
The Jaguars allowed just 32.3 percent shooting (10 of 31) by the Bobcats (5-4) in the second half, including 2 of 14 from 3-point range (14.3 percent).
Ohio's D.J. Cooper, who averaged nearly 19 points per game coming in, was just 1 of 9 for four points against IUPUI.
