Scott Christopherson made all 11 of his shots in scoring a career-high 29 points and Iowa State took control with a big first-half run to overwhelm Drake 91-43 Wednesday night.

Diante Garrett added 14 points and 10 assists for the Cyclones (3-0), who recorded their biggest victory margin in the 170-game series with the Bulldogs (1-1).

Rayvonte Rice and Kurt Alexander led Drake with eight points each.

Christopherson matched his previous career best of 19 points in the first half and had 14 during a 23-1 run that came after Drake had pulled to an 8-8 tie. His 11-for-11 shooting, which included five 3-pointers, tied a school record set by Mark Baugh against Western Illinois in 1989.

Drake went 10 1/2 minutes without a field goal during Iowa State's big run and missed 14 straight shots. The Bulldogs shot 22.4 percent and had more turnovers (20) than field goals (13).
