Melsahn Basabe scored 15 of his 17 points in the first half as Iowa throttled Texas A&M-Corpus Christi 88-59 on Saturday.
Devyn Marble added 15 points for the Hawkeyes (6-2), who never trailed and used a 20-0 run in the first half to bounce back from two straight losses.
Joy Williamson scored 14 points to lead Texas A&M-Corpus Christi (1-5).
Basabe came off the bench to spark Iowa's big first-half rally. The junior scored the final 13 points of the 20-0 run during a seven-minute stretch of the half. Basabe made 5 of 6 field goals and 7 of 8 free throws for the game.

Iowa freshman Adam Woodbury added 13 points and five rebounds. Josh Oglesby scored 12 points.
