Maurice Creek scored 12 of his 19 points in a two-minute burst early in the second half to help Indiana rally past Evansville 67-54 Sunday.
Verdell Jones added 18 points for the Hoosiers (4-0) and Christian Watford had 12 points and seven rebounds.
Colt Ryan led the Purple Aces (2-1) with 15 points. Pieter van Tongeren had 10 points and six rebounds.
Indiana spent most of the first half shooting around 70 percent but wasn't able to get separation because of turnovers, fouls and Evansville's rebounding edge. The Aces hit 11 of 16 free throws in the first half and led 31-25 at intermission.
