SAN ANTONIO (AP) Mitchell Badillo made four 3-pointers and scored 19 points to help Incarnate Word beat Nicholls State 68-61 on Saturday.

Incarnate Word did not make a field goal for the final six minutes of the first half and trailed 33-30. But the Cardinals opened the second on an 8-0 run after back-to-back 3-pointers by Badillo and Sam Burmeister.

Nicholls State pulled within four with 3:46 left, but Burmeister answered with a 3-pointer and the Cardinals led by at least five the rest of the way.
