Kyle Barone had 17 points and 12 rebounds to lead Idaho to a 70-69 victory against Seattle on Tuesday night.

Barone tied the game at 67-all with a pair of free throws, and Deremy Geiger put the Vandals (12-11) up for good, 70-69, with a 3-pointer with 1:22 remaining.

The Redhawks (6-13) had the last shot, but Aaron Broussard, who scored 20 points, sent a shot off the rim as the buzzer sounded.

Stephen Madison and Geiger had 16 points apiece for Idaho.

Sterling Carter scored 12 points, and Cervante Burrell and Eric Wallace had 10 each for Seattle.

The Vandals used a 16-4 run to take a 52-51 lead midway through the second half. Idaho took a six point lead when Djim Bandoumel converted a three-point play, but Chad Rasmussen put the Redhawks on top 67-65 on a 3-pointer with 3:20 left.
