After blowing a 13-point lead, Fresno State trailed 67-64 with 17 seconds remaining. The Bulldogs had time to set up a 3-point shot for the tie, but Jonathan Willis traveled and gave possession back to Idaho.

Tatum then fired a pass the length of the court to a wide-open Barone, who dunked it to seal the win for Idaho.

Johnson was fouled at the buzzer and finished off a three-point play to pull the Bulldogs within three points.
