Dave Dudzinski scored 20 points, including two tiebreaking free throws with 17 seconds remaining, as Holy Cross edged Morgan State 74-73 Sunday.

The Crusaders (2-1) led 70-59 with 4:03 to go, but the Bears (1-2) scored 11 consecutive points to tie the Liberty Tax Classic game with 1:38 left. Anthony Hubbard's three-point play, followed by four free throws, started the comeback, and DeWayne Jackson made it 70-70 with a layup and a dunk.

After Dudzinski's free throws, Malcom Miller blocked a shot by Hubbard and Justin Burrell added two free throws with 4.8 seconds left. Jackson's 3-pointer at the buzzer narrowed the final margin.

Phil Beans scored 17 points and Burrell 16 for Holy Cross, which made 91.7 percent of its free throws (22 of 24), compared to Morgan State's 60 percent (15 of 25) .

Hubbard led the Bears with 17 points, Blake Bozeman had 16 and Jackson 14.
