Hawaii runs away from Cal State Fullerton 81-61

HONOLULU (AP) Negus Webster-Chan set career marks with 18 points and six 3-pointers and Hawaii used a big second half to blow past Cal State Fullerton 81-61 on Saturday night.

Roderick Bobbitt had season bests of 17 points and three 3-pointers for Hawaii (18-9, 6-5 Big West), which broke away with a 10-1 run to lead 65-47 after back-to-back 3-pointers from Webster-Chan and Bobbitt. The Rainbow Warriors had their largest lead at 78-54 and outscored Fullerton 41-23 in the second half.

Quincy Smith added 13 points, seven rebounds and four steals, and Stefan Jankovic scored 12.

Fullerton (9-16, 1-9) trailed by one early in the second but went scoreless for a six-minute stretch while Hawaii scored 10 straight to lead 52-41 at the 13-minute mark. Lanerryl Johnson led the Titans with 23 points.

Hawaii's Isaac Fleming and Mike Thomas both left the game with injuries in the first half and did not return.
