Alec Brown had 20 points and nine rebounds to pace Green Bay to a 69-61 victory over Michigan Tech on Tuesday night.

Keifer Sykes scored 18 points and Brennan Cougill 11 for the Phoenix (5-6), who ended a two-game skid and raised their home record to 5-0.

Mike Hojnacki scored 18 points and Ali Haidar had 13 points and 10 rebounds for his fourth straight double-double for the Division II Huskies (5-4). Alex Culy added 12 points and Austin Armga 10.

Michigan Tech outscored Green Bay 51-48 from the field, but the Phoenix held a big edge at the foul line. Green Bay hit 21 of 26 free throws compared to 10 of 13 by the Huskies.

The Phoenix broke away from a 20-20 tie with a 13-2 run for a 33-22 halftime lead.

Michigan Tech's three-game winning streak ended.
