SEATTLE (AP) Jerome Garrison made a free throw with 12.6 seconds left and then blocked the potential game-winning shot as Grand Canyon edged Seattle 74-73 on Thursday night.

Seattle got the rebound after Garrison missed the second of two free throws, but he raced up court and blocked D'Vonne Pickett Jr.'s shot in the lane from behind. GCU grabbed the rebound to secure the victory. The Antelopes (13-11, 8-3) are in third place in the Western Athletic Conference but are even in the loss column with second-place New Mexico State and one down to leader Utah Valley.

Killian Larson led GCU with 20 points and 11 rebounds. Garrison added 18.

Isiah Umipig scored 30 points, five shy of his career high, for the Redhawks (12-13, 4-8).
