Georgetown wins in OT, 95-85 over Marquette

MILWAUKEE (AP) D'Vauntes Smith-Rivera hit five 3-pointers and finished with 19 points, and Joshua Smith added 18 points and 15 rebounds to help Georgetown beat Marquette 95-85 in overtime on Saturday.

Tre Campbell hit an open 3-pointer from the corner to give Georgetown an 89-85 lead in overtime, and after Matt Carlino missed, Smith-Rivera hit two of Georgetown's six free throws in the final 39 seconds.

Isaac Copeland had 17 points and Campbell added 14 for Georgetown (14-5, 6-2 Big East).

Copeland made a runner in the lane for a 79-76 advantage with 46 seconds left in regulation, then Marquette's Duane Wilson answered with contested 3-pointer. Smith rolled in both free throws with 5.9 seconds left for an 81-79 Georgetown lead, but Carlino hit a long jumper, with his toe on the line, to knot it at 81 with 0.9 seconds left.

Duane Wilson and Carlino scored 26 apiece for Marquette (10-9, 2-5).
