Florida State recruit arrested after allegedly eating marijuana in a panic
Florida State basketball recruit Cinmeon Bowers was arrested Jan. 16 after allegedly eating marijuana in an effort to conceal it from police.
Bowers and two teammates from Chipola College in Marianna, Fla., were pulled over for speeding last week, and during the stop, police say they smelled marijuana coming from the car.
Bowers, along with Torian Graham and Jamaar McKay-Taylor, then allegedly tried to eat the marijuana and were arrested and charged with tampering with evidence. They were taken to the Jackson County Correctional Facility.
All three players have been suspended indefinitely by Chipola College, coach Patrick Blake told ESPN.
Bowers, a 6-foot-6 power forward who committed to Florida State in September, is regarded as one of the top junior college prospects in the nation.

Seminoles coach Leonard Hamilton said he will wait to make any decisions about Bowers' future with the team, telling ESPN that he wants to get the "complete information."
