Chris Singleton scored 14 points and grabbed six rebounds as Florida State beat Alabama 60-51 in the Old Spice Classic on Friday. Florida State (5-1) will play Marquette, which upset No. 15 Michigan 79-65 earlier Friday, in the championship game on Sunday. Singleton hit a long-range jumper and Solomon Alabi had a slam during an 11-0 run that put Florida State ahead 45-32 with 11:39 left to play. Alabi finished with 10 points. Mikhail Torrance and JaMychal Green each scored nine points for Alabama (3-2). Singleton had 10 points, helping Florida State go up 30-25 at halftime. The Seminoles were 6 of 7 from 3-point range in the opening 20 minutes.
