Greg Gantt scored 17 points and Florida Atlantic held off Hofstra for a 63-59 victory on Saturday.

Raymond Taylor was 4 of 5 from the 3-point line and scored 14 points for the Owls (6-4), who have won three consecutive games.

Florida Atlantic led throughout the second half, but Hofstra (5-4) cut the margin to 58-57 on Charles Jenkins' jumper with 3:26 remaining.

Taylor hit a 3-pointer for a 61-57 lead with 1:55 remaining and Hofstra countered with Greg Washington's two free throws to trail 61-59 with 1:30 left.

Taylor closed out the scoring with two free throws with 42 seconds to play.

Jenkins, who scored 40 points on Wednesday night, finished with 32. He hit three 3-pointers, but the Pride, which had won four consecutive games, was 5 for 20 from behind the arc (25 percent).

Brett Royster added 10 points for Florida Atlantic.
