Yannick Crowder recorded 28 points and 13 rebounds to help Florida A&M run past Southeastern (Fla.) 82-64 on Thursday night.
Florida A&M (2-7) has now won two consecutive games after opening the season with seven straight losses.
Crowder shot 80 percent from the field (12 of 15) and made all four of his attempts from 3-point range.
Crowder came up big in the first half, scoring 14 points and grabbing seven rebounds during the period. His tip-in with 16:21 left in the half gave Florida A&M a 10-6 lead and sparked a 21-10 Rattler run. Jeffrey Kennings' jumper capped the run, giving Florida A&M a 31-16 lead.
Southeastern (9-5) pulled within nine, 36-27, but Florida A&M used another run, this time 15-4, to take a 51-31 lead with 5:29 left to play.
Reggie Lewis and Brandon Hosely each added 11 points for the Rattlers.
