Five-star recruit picks Florida State over Kentucky

It's not every day that Florida State beats Kentucky... on the basketball court. But that's exactly what happened on the recruiting circuit Monday.

Jonathan Isaac, a five-star 2016 forward, chose the Seminoles over the Wildcats.

The Bradenton product gives Florida State the second best recruiting class for 2016, according to 247 Sports.

'I think Florida State is so special,” Isaac told ESPN.com after the announcement on social media, 'the people they have there, people they have coming in. I want to be part of a special program. They’re going to be great.'
