BRIDGEPORT, Conn. (AP) Tyler Nelson scored 16 points, including the go-ahead jumper with 1:12 remaining, and Fairfield rebounded from a slim halftime deficit to defeat Rider on Monday night to complete a season sweep of the Broncs.

Rider led 41-37 at halftime but Fairfield scored the first five of the second and the game remained close the rest of the way, with neither side holding a lead larger than six.

Back-to-back 3s by Xavier Lundy gave the Broncs (14-13, 7-9 MAAC) a 67-61 lead with 4:22 left, however Rider did not score again, finishing the game 0 of 5 from the field with two turnovers.

Three-point baskets by Curtis Cobb and Jerry Johnson Jr. tied the game for the Stags (13-11, 8-7), and Nelson's bucket with 1:12 left put Fairfield over the top.
