Eastern Michigan clamps down on Ohio 76-40

YPSILANTI, Mich. (AP) Raven Lee scored 19 points and Mike Talley added 16 with seven assists as Eastern Michigan broke out of its conference slump to beat Ohio 76-40 Tuesday night.

The Eagles (13-7, 2-5 Mid-American Conference) held Ohio to a single basket for nearly four minutes while building a 31-16 lead by halftime. Ohio shot 16 percent in the opening half (5 of 31). Eastern Michigan opened the second half on an 8-2 run including dunks from Karrington Ward and Brandon Nazione.

Antonio Campbell was the lone Bobcat (7-11, 2-5) to reach double-figure scoring with 16 points. Maurice Daly Ndour, who averages 16, was held to four points on 1-of-7 shooting. Javarez Willis, who averages nearly 15 points per game, scored three on 1-of-8 shooting.

The Eagles used athletic tape to wear the jersey number of Shannise Heady of the women's team, killed with another student in car wreck early Sunday.
