Eastern Kentucky defeats William & Mary 63-44

Mike DiNunno scored 20 points and grabbed eight rebounds in Eastern Kentucky's 63-44 win over William & Mary on Saturday.

After shooting only 28 percent (7 for 25) from the field in the first half, Eastern Kentucky (3-2) entered halftime trailing 24-19. The Colonels come out strong in the second half though, draining 61.5 percent (16 of 26) of their attempts compared to just 29.2 percent (7 of 24) for William & Mary.

After a Kendrix Brown 3-pointer gave the Tribe a 27-21 lead to start the second half, Eastern Kentucky reeled off a 20 straight points to take a 41-27 lead with 10:19 left to play.

William & Mary (0-5) narrowed the lead to 10, 53-43, with 2:36 left to play. But Eastern Kentucky closed the game on a 10-1 run to take a 19-point lead with 16 seconds remaining.
