Maurice Kemp had a double-double and Paris Campbell scored 17 points to lead East Carolina past Virginia-Wise 91-56 on Saturday.
Campbell made 6 of 9 from the field, including 3 of 5 3-pointers.
Kemp was 10 of 12 from the field and grabbed 14 rebounds.
Virginia-Wise (3-7), of the NAIA, kept it close in the early in the game, trailing 9-8 behind a Travis Berry jumper. But East Carolina went on a 9-0 run to take an 18-8 lead with 13:28 left to play in the first half. Campbell capped the run with a 3-pointer.
East Carolina (9-4) wouldn't look back from there, taking a 45-21 lead into halftime.
Darrius Smith led Virginia-Wise with 15 points.
East Carolina shot a season-high 58.5 percent (38 of 65) from the field, compared to 28.8 percent (19 of 66) for the Cavaliers. The Pirates have won five consecutive games after losing three straight.
